For Pesach 2027 Yossi Fachler is the gabbai and master of ceremonies at the Elysium Resort in Rhodes, from April 20 to May 2. There is davening every day of the program, and a learning program for all ages with talks from the scholars in residence.

He has done the same for us in Tiberias, in Rhodes and in Courmayeur, so Rhodes 2027 is his fifth Pesach with Kosher Travelers. He works alongside the Rhodes scholar in residence line-up: Rabbi Dr Laibl Wolf and Professor David Shyovitz, with Dr Tal Becker and Rivkah Krinsky as guest speakers.

In the UK

Shabbat and High Holiday services

Born in the UK and a graduate of a college in Jerusalem, Yossi Fachler began as youth minister in two central London synagogues.

The United Synagogue Community Division and the Office of the Chief Rabbi have since called on him regularly to take Shabbat services in communities around the UK: leading the davening and giving the sermons. He has led High Holiday services in communities around the world, including three years at the Saatchi Synagogue in St John's Wood, and is High Holiday resident in Radlett, north of London, a community of 1,200, where he leads the davening and gives the sermons.

Education

An educator

Yossi Fachler works in informal Jewish education. He heads informal education at King Solomon International School in Israel. Before that he ran the enrichment programs and the informal education department at Hasmonean High School for Boys in London.
