With over 50 years combined commercial experience across numerous industries, David and Chana Walles, fulfilled their dream of Aliyah in 2008 and bought out the established and reputable Eddie’s Kosher Travel. Hailing from Melbourne Australia, David and Chana each have degrees in Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing and Economics and both completed Certificates in Events Management. This tourism power-couple believes that traveling and keeping kosher should be fun and exciting, and that Jewish travelers need not compromise on the quality of their vacation or their Jewish lifestyle. David & Chana recognize that how you spend your leisure time is a very important decision, and that’s why they work tirelessly to ensure that every detail of every trip is perfect.

Specializing in flights, hotel accommodation and cruises, Shelley gives our clients a personal, professional service that inspires guests to return year after year. Shelley is deeply involved in our Chagim Hotel Programs for Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkot in Israel and is renowned for going out of her way to ensure that your kosher vacation will be cherished forever.

Meet Ariel, the newest addition to the Kosher Travelers team. Born into the world of Kosher Travel, Ariel has years of luxury travel experience and brings a wealth of commercial and creative expertise to the table. As a highly skilled project manager, he is passionate about planning and leading successful initiatives, with a talent for identifying problems and providing solutions. Having served in the Israel Defense Force as an elite combat soldier and logistics manager, and completing a Bachelor's in Environmental Science and Sustainability he is helping to spearhead the company into a new-age approach of luxury travel while retaining the Kosher Travelers unique values.
Gilda Posner
Events Manager & Hostess, Israel
Gilda Posner is the founder of Epic Events Israel. Gilda has experience in the event and hotel industries in Israel and has a Masters in Social Work, which really lends itself in managing various situations. She is hands on and has a positive, fun and calming personality. She has been working closely with the Kosher Travelers in the lead up to Pesach to ensure that all aspects of the Program run smoothly and that you have a memorable and hassle-free family experience and vacation.

Hugh Raichlin
Scholar in Residence; Jewish Heritage Tours
Hugh was born and raised in Johannesburg South Africa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with majors in English Literature and Law at the University of the Witwatersrand, followed by a Bachelor of Laws. Hugh served for two years in the South African Air Force as a Law Officer and was awarded the Gold Certificate of Merit by the Officer Commanding Air Force Headquarters for outstanding services rendered as a National Serviceman. He attained the rank of Full Lieutenant. Hugh has been a practicing attorney since 1986. He has a general practice with particular expertise in commercial litigation and family law. Hugh has become well known for his published articles, series on South African television (YouTube), radio, and very popular audio-visual presentations on Jewish communities across the globe. For the past 22 years, Hugh has lectured across South Africa and internationally, on the Jews of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus, Russia, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Rhodes, India, Italy, Argentina, China, Japan and Morocco. Hugh is a Scholar in Residence for Jewish Heritage Tours and has led tours to India, Morocco, Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus.
David M Weinberg
Scholar in Residence; Jewish Heritage Tours & Wine Enthusiast
Mr. Weinberg is an inspirational educator who combines strategic and political insight with learned Jewish perspectives. He is a diplomatic, defense, political, and Jewish world columnist for The Jerusalem Post and Israel Hayom newspapers, a prominent lecturer on public affairs, and an accredited expert on Israeli and kosher wines. He studied international relations and history at the University of Toronto and Bar-Ilan University; Jewish law and thought at Yeshivat Hakotel under Rabbi Chaim Yeshayahu Hadari, and at Yeshivat Har Etzion under Rabbi Dr. Aharon Lichtenstein; and oenology at the London-based International Wine & Spirit Education Trust, the world’s leading institute for qualifying sommeliers. Since moving to Israel in 1990, he has served in several public positions. Among other, he was senior advisor to then-Deputy Prime Minister Natan Sharansky and founding coordinator of the Global Forum against Anti-Semitism in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office.
