This agreement

When you finalize a trip with Kosher Travelers and complete a reservation form, you agree to these terms. They form a binding contract between Kosher Travelers and every guest named on the reservation form, and each of those guests is a "client" here.

You accept these terms when you sign a reservation form (a digital signature counts), pay a deposit, or are named as a guest on a reservation form. If you do not agree to them, please do not take any of those steps.

"Kosher Travelers", "we" and "us" mean Eddie's Travel & Tourism Ltd (company number 513465054), P.O. Box 568, Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut 7171801, Israel, together with its owners, officers, employees, agents and contractors.

This website

This website describes our programs and lets you send an inquiry. Nothing is booked or paid on it: there are no accounts and no checkout, and a person confirms every booking. The dates, prices and details of a trip are the ones on its program page and on your reservation form, which is what you sign.

The words and photographs on this website belong to Kosher Travelers or to the people credited beside them. Please do not copy or republish them without our written permission.

Our role and its limits

We buy transportation, hotel rooms, meals and other services from independent suppliers that we do not control. We are not the principal or co-vendor of any airline, cruise line, hotel or other supplier; when we book them, we act as your agent.

We are not liable for any injury (including death), loss, damage, expense, delay or inconvenience to any person or property, however it arises, including where it is caused by an act, neglect or default of Kosher Travelers or of the people it is responsible for, or by a defect or failure of any aircraft, vessel, vehicle or other equipment run by an independent supplier.

We are also not liable for delays or interruptions caused by weather, natural disasters, technical problems with any aircraft, vessel or vehicle, strikes, war, terrorism, civil unrest or any other cause beyond our control.

Reservations and payment

Your reservation is made on a reservation form, not on this website. You pay the deposit shown on the reservation form, and the balance by the date shown there, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Each program's deposit, balance dates and cancellation terms are printed on its program page and on its reservation form, and those govern your booking.

Deposits and payments are made by bank transfer or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover). If the deposit or the balance is not paid on time, we may cancel the reservation.

Once we have accepted your deposit, your reservation is confirmed, except in a case of force majeure: fire, earthquake or natural disaster, a labor dispute, an act of a public enemy, a public health crisis or pandemic, the death, illness or incapacity of a Kosher Travelers employee or contractor, any law, government order or regulation, any major event that affects international travel or endangers travelers, or any other event beyond our control.

What a trip includes

Every trip is different, and its own itinerary is what counts. In general a Kosher Travelers trip includes:

• Hotels. The best available standard room, based on availability. Single rooms cost extra. We may substitute a hotel for one named on the website or in your itinerary when necessary. Ask for a bed type when you book; we will try, but cannot promise it.
• Meals. Kosher meals, as listed in the itinerary.
• Sightseeing. English-speaking guides and entrance fees as listed in the itinerary, in air-conditioned vehicles where available.
• Luggage. Transfer of one full-size suitcase (23 kg) and one 8 kg carry-on, except where an airline or charter carrier sets its own limit. Overweight charges are yours.
• Port taxes. Port taxes on the cruise part of an itinerary.

Not included

Flights and airport taxes; passports and visas; laundry, alcohol and personal items; guides, buses or cars for sightseeing not in the itinerary; excess baggage; health, accident, baggage and trip cancellation insurance; the cost of recovering luggage lost by an airline or left behind, or of shipping purchases home; tips to hotel, cruise, train and restaurant staff, local guides, drivers and the travel director, unless the inclusions list them; and costs caused by a delay or interruption for any reason, including force majeure.

Passports, visas and travel documents

You are responsible for your passport, visas and any other documents, and for checking the entry rules of every country you travel to or through; they depend on your citizenship. We cannot obtain personal travel documents for you, and we are not responsible if you are refused entry or exit for lack of documents or required vaccinations. Any cost from a delay or itinerary change caused by missing documents is yours.

Tickets and other travel documents may be non-refundable, non-changeable and non-transferable, and may carry cancellation or change fees. Check every document as soon as you receive it and tell us at once about any mistake in a name, date or time: a wrong name can cause a booking to be canceled. We cannot refund a guest who is refused travel for lack of the right documents, or who misses the flight, ship or train.

Prices and changes

Prices are based on exchange rates on the day we confirm your trip. We may raise a price, change any part of a trip, or withdraw part or all of it where necessary, and any extra cost is paid by the guests. Sometimes we have to change parts of a trip because of a supplier's operating days or availability.

If you want to change, postpone or reschedule a trip or any part of it, you are not entitled to a refund unless we agree to one. Changes you make after departure are at your own expense, and there is no refund for services in the trip price that you do not use.

Cancellations

If you cancel

The cancellation terms for your trip are the ones on its program page and on your reservation form. We are not responsible for other costs that follow a cancellation, such as airline cancellation fees, visa fees, vaccinations or clothing and equipment. Where a supplier charges us a cancellation fee for a booking you cancel, you agree to repay us that fee. Where you are due a refund of money already paid to a supplier, we refund you once the supplier has refunded us.

If we cancel

We do our best to run every trip we list, but some things are outside our control, and we may cancel a program for any reason. If we do, we will tell you as soon as possible, and any refund is at our discretion, based on the circumstances. If we change, postpone or reschedule your trip, or offer a travel credit or a partial refund, that is not a cancellation by us.

Payment disputes

If you disagree with a charge, please raise it with us first, before you dispute it with your credit card company. If you dispute a charge with your card company, including after a cancellation or postponement caused by force majeure, we will give the card company a copy of your signed agreement to recover our fees.

Travel insurance

We do not buy travel insurance for you, and we strongly recommend that you buy a travel protection plan when you book. If you choose not to, or your cover is not enough, you are responsible for every cost, loss or damage connected with your trip, including cancellation or interruption, loss or theft of belongings and medical expenses.

Health and risk

Our trips are active, and every guest should be in good health before travel. Vaccination rules differ from country to country, so please talk to your own doctor or local health board before you book; where a vaccination is required, carry the certificate. By accepting these terms you confirm that no medical condition prevents you from taking part in the trip, and that you will get medical treatment at once if you need it on the trip.

Travel carries risk, including injury and, in rare cases, death. Those risks can come from the negligence of Kosher Travelers or its staff, contractors or other guests, from weather and nature, and from the political, health, cultural and geographical conditions of the places we visit, which can be greater than at home. Third parties cannot always be controlled, and your safety and health cannot be guaranteed while traveling. You confirm that you are physically and mentally able to take part, that you choose to take part knowing these risks, and that you take full responsibility for any injury or damage you suffer, including where it is caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Kosher Travelers or its people.

Release of liability

In return for our services, you, your heirs and your representatives release Kosher Travelers and its owners, officers, directors, agents, contractors and employees from any claim for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, lost profits, or consequential, exemplary, indirect or punitive damages arising out of or during your trip and its activities, and you agree to indemnify them against such claims. This includes claims for the negligence of Kosher Travelers or its people.

Our total liability for any reason is limited to the amount you paid Kosher Travelers for its services, as shown on your reservation form.

Your personal data

We protect your personal data with appropriate technical and organizational measures. Booking a trip with us is an instruction to use your details to arrange it, including passing them to the hotels, cruise lines and other suppliers involved. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and your rights.

If something goes wrong

Tell the person on your regional line first, during the trip if you can, so we can put it right while you are still there.

If it is not resolved, email info@koshertravelers.com with your booking reference, and we will reply within 14 days.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the consumer law of your country.

General

Your obligation to pay under the reservation form and these terms does not depend on your satisfaction with the services: once they are delivered, payment may not be withheld, in whole or in part, because you were dissatisfied.

We may update these terms at any time. An update takes effect when it is posted on this page. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written approval. If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest still applies. If either side does not enforce a term at any time, that does not waive it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
