Raya and David Korros

Dear David and Chana, We are writing to thank you for the wonderful Pesach, at the Elysium, we celebrated with you, your extended family and guests.  Moreover, we extend to you a second thank you for convincing us, the entire Schuster/Korros family, to “take the plunge.”  It was so much fun for all of us to be together, over the holiday, in such a beautiful place.  The entire experience was “over the top,” including the hotel, the food, the programs the atmosphere, truly everything.  We marveled at how organized you were.  It all went like clockwork, and we appreciate how much work the two of you and your team put in both ahead of, and during, the holiday to make that happen.  Kol ha-kavod to you.  We wish you more successful tours and Pesach programs in the years to come.  By all means, keep up the good work! Fondly,

Evelynne Cherney,

Our Kosher Travelers Chanuka Dubai trip was exciting. The destination was like a mirage with all new buildings in many architectural styles. The people were very welcoming and genuine and seeing what has been achieved in a short 30-40 years as this city grew from nothing was amazing. Accommodation, kosher meals and organization was excellent. Kosher Travelers made it very enjoyable. Evelynne Cherney, Modiin Israel

This really was the best Pesach program [The Elysium, Rhodes] we have ever been to and we were extremely appreciative of everything.

Michael & Ilanah Katz,

We are already home for two weeks since our interesting and exciting trip to Batumi Georgia. From the day we signed up until the day we returned, we had the undivided attention of Chana and David Walles. The weeks before were full of worry as to how Covid would impact our trip. Would it be canceled, should we cancel and so on. Throughout this period They we’re most positively responsive and sympathetic. The trip was extremely well organized and we moved seamlessly from one day to the next with each day planned with concern and thoughtfulness. Geared for the group, our activities were fun and enjoyable and the places visited, our local guide, and everything else were well selected. We definitely had a great time and look forward to joining them again.Michael & Ilanah Katz, Jerusalem

To David and Chana, Thank you so much for such a wonderful vacation to Batumi, Georgia in August 2022.  It was truly a pleasure to not have to worry about a single thing!! The delicious food and wonderful company only made it better. Chana, you are a master at taking care of people and paying attention to the little details.  We definitely hope to be able to travel with you again sometime soon. Stuart & Gloria Shocket,

BATUMI GEORGIA 19 JULY 2021 As independent travelers, it was with some trepidation we joined a group. Immediately, we felt in good hands by the updated information and availability of organizers. The whole tour  to Batumi  Georgia was a balance of activities and free time, without the feeling of being over organized. The friendliness, efficiency and flexibility as well as good choices of activities, and not forgetting the superb cuisine made for a memorable holiday. We look forward to further trips once we have lost the weight gained.  In short, highly recommended.  Thank you Chana and David and Kosher Travelers team. Stuart & Gloria Shocket, Netanya

The Kosher Travelers – a wonderfully integrated group of 35 guests included participants from age 17 up to 74 — fearlessly climbed to beautiful vistas and geological marvels of this unique country. We visited waterfalls, glaciers, hot springs, geysers, active volcanoes, and lava generated dreamscape rock formations.     Sailing out in a motorized rubber dinghy to see the largest glacier in Europe which Icelanders talk about as if it were an old friend or a venerable relative, we toasted our arrival with a shot of Floki – a local whisky, on the rocks – in this case a chunk of 500-year-old glacier ice. Our fantastic knowledgeable guide, Yossi Ben Ami, was so enamored of the history and geology of everyplace we visited, that his enthusiasm became contagious. The waterfalls were lacy elegant streams falling from on high or thundering torrents rivaling the legendary Sambatyon River which rages six days a week and rests on Shabbos. Our delicious meals were always beautifully presented usually in our own private dining room. For Shabbat we were treated to delicious meals at the Chabad house in Rejkavik, Iceland’s capital city.  Rebbetzin Mushky and Rabbi Avi Feldman were most gracious hosts.  We flew up to Akureyri, known as the Northern capital of Iceland. A delightful small town, which boasts the northern most botanical garden in the world, traffic lights which feature a heart-shaped red light, and an airport runway in the middle of a fjord and a protected nature preserve know as the Black Castle where huge lava formations suggest birds, cathedrals, or whatever your imagination can conjure up. On our last day we visited the Sky Lagoon – a heavenly Oceanside thermal spa. While there, after luxuriating in the relaxing warmth you can go in for the ‘Ritual’ treatment which starts with a dunk in rather cold water then continues with a salt/mineral scrub, a sauna and other delights. The hotels were all well-located and comfortable. The other tour members from around the United States, Europe and Israel were a fun-loving, intelligent, cosmopolitan, amiable group. Kosher Travelers has many other imaginative invigorating trips planned. Don’t leave home without them. Contact the company at koshertravelers.com.  Helen Weiss Pincus, New Jersey Iceland August 2022
