The Musical Maestro
Yossi was born in Washington in 1991 into a musically gifted family, showed exceptional talent from a young age.
Inspired by a recording of cantor Moshe Genschov in 2003, he became immersed in cantorial music, regularly attending the Great Synagogue of Jerusalem as a teen.
In 2007, he began private training with Shlomo Goldhar, and later studied under Maestro Elli Jaffe and cantor Yisrael Rand at the Academy of Jewish Liturgical Music.
In 2011, Yossi founded the Pamonim Vocal Ensemble, now among the leading cantorial groups globally.
He has performed throughout Israel and Europe, bringing a modern, engaging approach to Jewish liturgical music—blending tradition with innovation and deeply connecting with his audiences.
