Travel for Two: A recent survey on traveleffect.com of men and women across a range of ages found that travel is consistently linked with healthier, happier connections for people at every stage of a relationship.
More than 75 percent of unmarried couples point to shared new experiences as one of the key values of traveling together. Couples who do travel make it past the five-year relationship mark more than those who don’t. But among divorced people, nearly one in three say they didn’t travel together, while for those still married, that number is only one in five.
