Pretty shoes getting squished in the suitcase? Here’s how you preserve the shape of your shoes AND conserve valuable space in your suitcase: pack your socks inside your shoes. For narrow, pointy shoes, roll one sock into the toe area.
Wrap the shoes in a small, lightweight plastic or cloth bag to protect the rest of your things from getting dirty.
Lay shoes in the suitcase as they are packed in the shoebox (heel to toe) for best space management.
For an ingenious and easy-to-pack pair of shoes, try these shoes from Timberland that zip completely into themselves.
No matter what shoes you take, make sure they’re broken-in long before you leave home. The last thing you want to worry about is tending to blisters while you’re trying to enjoy the vacation you’ve been waiting for all year long!
