30 March-4 April 2018 Legend Golf and Safari resort is located 3 hours north of Johannesburg, in a Big 5 malaria free safari reserve. The resort offers numerous swimming pools, an 18 hole championship golf course, including the Extreme 19th hole set high above the mountain. Hot Air Ballooning, safari drives, quad biking, horse rides are available during Chol Hamoed.
The Legend Resort lends itself to the ideal first few days of Pesach, with a huge array of activities, top class accommodation set into the African bush, and all within walking distance of a lovely main conference area, and variety of venues. The location also boasts fantastic venues for the Shul and festive meals, this will certainly go down as one of the best locations for Pesach you have ever been to.
The rooms are all lovely suites overlooking the African bush, the venues are set in the most beautiful locations with mountains and scenery in the backdrop, and the resort is a tribute to ancient tribes that lived in this area for hundreds of years.
4-8 April 2018 Century City Hotel is located in the “ venice” of Cape Town with direct access to waterways, canals, indoor swimming pool, incredible shopping and walks to Intaka Bird Island.
The Century City Hotel built in 2016 is one of Cape town’s newest cutting edge hotels in the heart of the “ Venice” of Cape Town, Canal Walk. With stunning views of Table Mountain, incredible modern design and close to a huge array of highlights from Intaka Bird Island, the Canal Walk art route, shopping centres and an indoor heated pool nearby , and a short 5 minute shuttle to iconic beaches with famous views of the bays and mountains,.
And then of course there is a haven of tranquillity in the Century City Hotel’s conference venue for our Shiurim, and Shul services.
Coupled with one of the finest, most modern kitchens in the city for our Kosher chefs to whip up a magnificent array of food suited to the most discerning of palates and all according the highest Pesach Kashrut standards required.

Scholars & Entertainers
Hugh was born and raised in Johannesburg and attended Houghton Primary School and King David High School Linksfield. Hugh obtained a Bachelor of Arts with majors in English Literature and Law, at the University of the Witwatersrand, followed by a Bachelor of Laws.
Hugh served for two years in the South African Air Force as Law Officer at Air Force Head Quarters in Pretoria. Hugh was awarded the Gold Certificate of Merit by the Officer Commanding Air Force Headquarters for outstanding services rendered as a National Serviceman. He attained the rank of Full Lieutenant.
Hugh has been a practising Attorney since 1986. He has a general practice with particular expertise in commercial law, family law and litigation.
Hugh also conducts corporate training on various topics including training in the legal procedures in the High Court and Magistrates Court, landlord / tenant law and commission claims for property brokers in which area he was successful in a ground -breaking judgment in the Supreme Court of Appeals. Hugh has been interviewed as an attorney on several radio stations in South Africa and has also appeared on a live broadcast on developments in Divorce Law on a SABC News Channel.
Hugh is a former Gauteng Chairman of the IUA-UCF, former Chairman of Keter Torah Congregation Sydenham Johannesburg, and a current Trustee of the Rambam Charitable Trust which has offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Hugh has led services on the High Holy Days at the Shtiebel Congregation at Pine Street Shull, the Sunny Road Shull, and the Northcliff Hebrew Congregation for many years, and teaches Jewish Law, philosophy and ethics on a weekly basis.
Hugh has become well known for his published articles and very popular audio-visual presentations on Jewish communities across the globe. Hugh is the Scholar-in-Residence for Eddies Kosher Travels, and has led tours to Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus and Morocco. Hugh has often been interviewed on ChaiFM Radio on his Jewish Heritage Travels.
He has given over 130 audiovisual presentations across South Africa and internationally, to Jewish and non-Jewish audiences, a number of which have been attended by the Ambassadors of the country being presented. His topics include the Jewish communities of: Lithuania, Spain, Rhodos, Poland, Belarus, Greece, India, Portugal, Italy, Russia, Argentina, Japan and China.
Hugh is married to Michelle and they have 5 children.
Chaim Ehrlich, with his melodious and warm voice, is extremely well-versed in Jewish Liturgy. From the High Holy Day services and Shabbat / Festival prayers to his fluent reading from the Torah, Chaim enthuses the ancient Jewish texts with a sense of significance and focus on what this means for the individual. He inspires, delights and captures the essence of each unique Jewish life-cycle event with passion and authenticity.
Chaim works as a Brand Architect and Creative Designer and has also published a range of brochures and booklets for Jewish occasions; including the Pesach Haggadah, Zemirot Songbooks, among many others.
A passionate and wonderful asset to have on any Pesach programme, and one of the leading voices in South Africa.
Chaim and his wife Lani, have been married for two years and live in Cape Town, South Africa.
Adrian is a passionate organiser of gourmet Kosher tours all over Africa, and his passion is to open up the countries around his beloved South Africa, to the world of Jewish guests, and their unique dietary needs deep in the safari regions of this breathtaking continent.
He grew up going on safaris with his grandfather , and is now the owner of various safari companies, most notably, Luxury Kosher Safari and is a trend setter in the world of Kosher and safaris.
He is equally as passionate about “Chesed” , and the whole concept of socially enriching, charitable forms of tourism that “ gives back” to the poorest of the poor communities that may never see the direct benefit of tourism if it weren’t for deliberate and focussed efforts to enhance their quality of life in constructive, carefully thought through interventions for those in need, using tourism funding and donations as a means to improve the lives of the marginalised people of this continent.
He has been serving as a volunteer for many years in Jewish and non Jewish communities, and hosts hundreds of tourists a year, through their family owned business, Tourism that Cares. Together with business partner, Reynard van As and a team of 11 highly specialised consultants, they are leading the new wave of top quality Kosher tourism to this continent.
He has initiated the Pesach South Africa 2018 programme with a dream to show the Jewish world, that Pesach can be done at the highest standard in two iconic locations in his beloved country of birth, South Africa.
Adrian is married to Gerrida, and has 2 children, Daniel and Isabella-Grace and lives in Cape Town.
