In 1970, 14 Jews desperately wanted to make Aliyah from the Soviet Union - and they figured out a creative solution.

Under the guise of a trip to a local wedding, members of the group bought all the tickets on a 12 seater plane.The plan - the groups pilot would fly the plane across the border.


This fascinating story about devoted and heroic Olim is the subject of Anat Zalmanson-Kuznetsov, a daughter of one of the group's leaders, latest documentary, Operation Wedding.


Anat, thank you for screening your documentary, and facilitating a question/answer session, this past Chol Hamoed Pesach for Kosher Travelers staying at the Hacienda Forest View Hotel, Ramada Suites Netanya, and Nof Ginosar.
