Here's a bright idea many people wish they'd heard before it was too late: Empty your wallet and hand bag (pocket book) of any membership cards, credit cards, vouchers etc. that you will not be using on your trip. This way, if your wallet is lost or stolen, you will have fewer cards to replace.
Keep a copy of all your credit cards and passports in a seperate place with you when you travel and another copy with a close friend or relative back home. This way, in the event of theft or loss it will be easier to handle cancellations and arrange replacements. See? So easy but so helpful.
Check back often for more packing tips your mother never told you.
