I am writing to give you an opportunity to make a difference by supporting a very special cause.

After a 25 year break from riding a bike, please G-d, I am joining the Alyn charity ride for the first time, which is taking place this year from October 27th to 31st. The ride benefits the Alyn Hospital in Jerusalem, which provides intensive physical rehabilitation for children with severe disabilities.

Alyn is as remarkable as it is inspiring and has become a world leader dedicated to the intensive rehabilitation of infants, children and adolescents with the most severe disabilities resulting from trauma or disease. Alyn treats children tethered to respirators, with limb deformities, muscular dystrophies, spinal and head injuries, severe burns and more. Their world-class staff of physicians, nurses and therapists work every day to create a better life for these children.

This year, the Alyn Ride began at Emek Hefer coast and is continuing to: Nahal Alexander, Bikat HaNadiv, Dor Beach, Ein Hod, Mt. Shokef, Daliat el Carmel, Kerem Maharal, Dor Beach, Bat Shlomo, Ramot Menashe, Nahal Harod, Ma'ayan Harod, Beit Alfa, Mt. Gilboa, Latrun and will finish at the ALYN Hospital in Jerusalem.

I will ride 100's of Km's with other off road riders through valleys, over mountains and across the width and breadth of our beautiful country. We'll climb the historic Burma Road which winds its way through the Judean Hills in our emotional ascent to Jerusalem, where we will be greeted by the heroic children of Alyn.

The Alyn Ride began ten years ago with nine riders and raised $50,000. Last year Alyn raised almost $2.5M! By the end of my 1st ride, my goal is to have collected over $2,500 on behalf of these special children. With your help, I am confident we can help Alyn continue their remarkable work! A contribution as little as $18 will make a huge difference.
